J'aime musee_____parce que...
Musee du Lourve...sketching sculptures in Cour Puget has gots to be one of my favorite "to-dos" right now. Revisiting this artistic side of mine since high school has been bery peaceful.
Musee D'Orsay...a museum that use to be a train station is already hella sick, but what makes it even better is that there's TONS of Van Goh's and Monet's paintings.
Musee Pompidou...lots of great modern art, but even better than that, there is an ENTIRE section dedicated to womyn artists whom have contributed to the modern art movement. The arts in media form has really taken it to another level. Today I wanted a film about this womyn who followed Iraqi and Afagan refugees in France trying to cross the borders into England. The filmmaker was a brave womyn. But those whom she followed, are even more brave. Then I watched a film about this Indian womyn who went around asking locals about what they think of democracy in India. I am definitely going back.

French culture = gendered as fuck. It's annoying. Why do 50 year old moms have to make dinner, set up the table, clean the table, wash, fold, and iron clothes for grown 20+ years old adults?

i haven't got a chance to see the womyn @ pompidou exhibit yet, so def tell me when you go back!
and my god. i know... i feel like i've stepped back into the 1950s here or something. and the way men treat women in public is absolutely atrocious. for how "progressive" france supposedly is, i expect better.
so is vietnamese culture as well. very very gendered. as my post mate said to me the other day, something along these lines...the issues of third world countries, can be traced to the issues of gender inequality and oppression...basically the way they treat women.
HIII TIKA! i found you and i shall stalk you. <3 Anna
